Mission Statement

LabelGMONevada.org is a statewide network of advocates declaring our fundamental right to know if our food contains ingredients derived from Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).  Together, we are building a critical mass of support for the passage of legislation requiring the mandatory labeling of GMO foods in Nevada.

LabelGMONevada addresses food safety (chemical-free and unadulterated food), food freedom (the right to choose our own food or farmer), and food sovereignty (the right of local regions to determine food safety standards and appropriate agricultural technologies–despite international trade agreements).

LabelGMONevada is dedicated to the recognition that all living things deserve the right to a pure and healthful environment, including food, air and water.

We support polices and laws at the local, state and national levels, which promote the protection of all our natural resources.
We encourage the availability of truthful, transparent information surrounding all environmental and health-related issues, with the belief that all people have the right to such information.

We offer access to many educational materials, providing knowledge to support sustainability and conservationist practices.
